What is taking place in Nigeria right now is an opportunity misplaced. The National Assembly should wake up to their responsibilities.

ATTEN BUSINESS AND NEWS EDITORS LONESTAR DRILLING OUTRAGE ! Dear Editor, Following on your recent article on Seawolf, here is another scam ! Please have one of your excellent writers investigate Lonestar Drilling in Nigeria. Shameless characters. They received the Deal of the Year award from AfreximBank http://www.afreximbank.com/afrexim/en/NewsEvents/News/TradeFinanceDealoftheYear.aspx and since then have broken all the rules in doing business and as a result within the Rivers state judiciary now there are 7 lawsuits filed, many more forthcoming; and in the USA 4 suits filed in federal court. It is important to shout out to the community that this company should be avoided as they dont pay their bills. Save us from crooked business dealers please. Their bankers tell us all is well, not true, the banks are now doing everything they can not to rock the boat because if lonestar enters into bankruptcy they will not get their interest payments and its a tremendous amount of mo

I am an MSc student in International Project Management in Glasgow Scotland. Presently am working on a project about safety in design in the construction industry, trying to relate what we have in the whole of United Kingdom with the Nigerian case. I found the article by DR.MARTIN DADA of the University of Lagos Nigeria on The Nigerian National Building Code very interesting and helpful and will like to get in touch with him in that respect. Please I could be reached through my email address. Thank you. Sincerely, Uche Obasi Glasgow,Scotland.

your website is too hard to navigate. Its not orderly and is too bland! What looks like buttons dont work and what dosent does??? WHY!!? I was attempting to see your current rates of adverts in your newspaper but could not find it. People should have the comfort of coming on your site and actually finding basic information such as that, On other websites its at the bottom but yours is no where to be found. Or maybe im blind but still cannot find it. If a user cannot find what he or she is looking for within a few seconds they become discouraged, this means the website is inefficient.. Please try and amend this or at least make the site easy to navigate and orderly.

I read the story about Ojukwu being more influential than the former Vice President Ekwueme, and have this to say. Ojukwu could be more popular for the war among the Anambrarians but definitely not in politics. I remember he lost woefully to an unknown political quantity in 1983 at the height of his popularity as returnee from exile. He has even been disobeyed times without number in the scheme of things in Anambra, even in his APGA. Ekwueme has reflected political wisdom and maturity at all levels.

REFLECTIONS FOR 2010 Beloved, 2009, like the sunset, is about to fade into the night of oblivion, confined to the corridors of the great hall of history. A story written with episodes and chapters of the human experience fast approach its epilog. A book called ‘2009’ with living characters set on the stage of cause and effect, actions and reactions, sowing and reaping. A living panorama of human will and actions of consequential proportions is about to close and the ripple effect of our choices lies just beyond the horizon. Like an ocean uncharted, 2010 beckons us to explore the mysteries of the deep. God, our Creator of time and eternity, has designed two unique doors that open into the future before us. These immortal gates are found in Romans 12 verses 1 and 2. The truth of God revealed in these verses highlights God’s purpose for our body (covenant) and mind (relationship), the two basic components for healthy and productive godly existence in this life on earth. Re:Re:Noodles War: Indomie And The Competitions. Indomie has indeed evolved to a generic brand. The noodles market in Nigeria is an interesting market to behold. I've closely monitored this market over a long time now. Indomie has one of the best marketing team I must confess, but their brand expansion strategy must be checked. The brand's market domination could be attributed to the level of mindshare they control. This they achieved by building the noodles market rather than building Indomie brand first. The noodles competition has been lopsided, because you don't benchmark a strong brand like Indomie. Your best approach should be the opposite strategy, like what Nooyi Indra did through Pepsi in 2001. The latest entrants "Golden Penny" and "Dangote" made the same mistake others before them had made. I wish Indomie a good ride while expecting a virile competitor. Brand expansion should be checked in order not to weaken the brand.

RE: 2ND NIGER BRIDGE. It is increasingly becoming obvious that the Federal Government is still fighting the Igbos about forty years after the "War of Unity" was fought to "keep Nigeria One". Some of us who did not fight the Biafra war because we were young are now seeing why Ikemba fought that war. As we grow up and try to integrate ourselves into Nigeria, successive Governments (apart from government of Gen. Yakubu Gowon) by their acts are telling us we should stay in Igbo land. Mark my prophesy, when the Niger Bridge eventually collapse and Igbo bloods turn the river red, the young Igbo boys and girls who did not fight the war or are born after the war will not be urge that the time has come to die with honour than to live without one in Nigeria. Feel the pulse and the heat. Is Nigeria prepare, or do they Government secretly want this country divided and fulfil the prophecy of the Americans. Tel: 08093056006
